Before you go in blind.
Everything worth knowing about the blindfold, the deposit, and how to book — straight answers, in her words.
What is a blindfold tattoo?
It's exactly what it sounds like. You pick the placement, give me up to three ideas or themes, and choose color or black & grey — then you put on the blindfold and I freestyle within what you gave me, tattooing you while you can't see. You don't see the piece until it's finished. That's the whole point: you trust the chair, and you walk out with something you couldn't have planned.
Do I get any say in the design?
Yes — the parts that matter to you. You choose where it goes, you circle up to three ideas or themes, and you decide color or black & grey. From there you're blindfolded and I freestyle within those ideas, so the exact design is the surprise. You steer the spirit of it; I steer the needle — sighted.
What if I don't like it?
I'll be honest with you — going in blind is a leap of faith, and that's what makes it what it is. There's no peeking and no pre-approved sketch. What I stand on is the work itself: a portfolio of real, healed pieces and the people who've trusted the chair. If certainty is what you need, a custom (non-blindfold) tattoo is the better fit — and I'm glad to do that too.
How much is the deposit, and is it refundable?
A $20 deposit books your spot — $10 for the Mini. It's non-refundable and non-transferable, and it goes toward your total on your original appointment date. Think of it as holding the chair.
How do I book?
Online, through my Goldie booking page — pick a service and a time, pay the deposit, and you're confirmed. If you don't see a slot that works, text or email me at (817) 500-2815 or Tattooingforchrist@gmail.com and we'll find one.
Does Ariel do regular (non-blindfold) tattoos too?
Absolutely. Plenty of folks come in knowing exactly what they want — freestyle pieces, custom work by size (small, medium, large), portraits, cover-ups, half and full sleeves, glitter tattoos, and piercings. The blindfold is the signature, not the only thing I do.
Where are you, and what are your hours?
I'm at 3500 Williams Rd, Benbrook, TX 76116 — Fort Worth / DFW. Hours are Monday and Wednesday 12–9, Friday and Saturday 12–10; closed Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
How do I know the work is good?
Fair question — don't just take my word for it. I'm BBB A+ accredited (since January 2026), and more than 635,000 people follow the work on TikTok (@arieldejesus2). Beyond that, look at the portfolio of healed pieces and decide for yourself.
What's the “tattoos for donations” thing?
It's the heart of why I do this. No cash? You can trade donations — water, hygiene supplies, food, socks — and they go straight to the homeless community here in Fort Worth. Tattooing for Christ; every needle is a way to love a stranger. (Psalm 23:4.)
