Everyone should be able to find Ariel, read her story, and book the chair. Accessibility here is built in — not bolted on.
Our commitment
This site aims to meet the WCAG 2.2 Level AA guidelines. Accessibility is an ongoing commitment rather than a finished box to check — we keep improving it as the site grows.
How it's built
- Semantic, structured HTML with proper landmarks and headings.
- Fully keyboard navigable, with visible focus indicators.
- Honors your
prefers-reduced-motionsetting — the opening animation becomes a gentle fade with no large movement. - Color contrast targeted at AA against the dark palette.
- Responsive and usable from phone to desktop.
- The mobile menu manages focus: focus moves into it on open, stays trapped while it's open, and returns to the button on close.
No accessibility overlay
We do not use a third-party accessibility overlay or widget. Those bolt-on tools frequently get in the way of the assistive technology people already rely on. Accessibility is built into the site itself instead.
